I GAVE MY LIFE TO JESUS! NOW WHAT?
If you gave your life to Jesus at an event or on a live stream, PLEASE KNOW that there is no agenda here other than seeing you come fully alive in JESUS! I am praying for you and cheering you on! You will never look back and regret it! The question is… what now? If you have any questions or just need prayer, feel free to send an email with the form at the bottom of this page, and myself (Stephen), my wife (Tara), one of my sons or someone from the team will respond. These three things below are just simple next steps that I pray are helpful. Love you and cheering you on, in Jesus' name!
SPENDING TIME WITH JESUS IN THE BIBLE
If you've never read the Bible, it might be overwhelming, trying to know where to start. There are so many great resources out there today!
If you need a Bible, you can read it on your phone in the meantime using the FREE YouVersion Bible App (search any mobile App Store). Also, I would start with an easy-to-understand translation like the NLT.
I would start with the Gospel of John. As you read, ask Jesus to help you understand what He wants you to know about Him.
SPENDING TIME WITH JESUS IN PRAYER
You are made to talk to Jesus! He is always with you and sees and cares about every aspect of your life! If you never prayed before, here is a good place to start!
“Jesus, I want to really know you and love you more than I do right now! Place in me a desire to want to talk with you for the rest of eternity, in Your name I pray, amen.”
FINDING A GOOD CHURCH
First, there is no perfect church because people are not perfect, but God really does want you around people that love Him and you, and will cheer you on, and that could be a house church as well! Also, PRAY and ask the Lord to lead you to the right place, and as you look, here are some questions to ask:
Do they believe Jesus is the only way, died for your sins, and rose again from the grave?
Do they teach the Bible?
Do they obviously love Jesus and people?
Do they show grace to others more than judgment?
Do they really worship Jesus, rather than perform?
Do they perform water baptism?
Do they have groups where you can be in fellowship with other believers outside of a weekend service?
