Faith isn’t a feeling to chase — it’s a promise to rest in. Precious Jesus, I trust You.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
ESV
Faith isn’t about having no doubts.
Trusting Jesus doesn’t mean everything makes sense. It means taking Him at His word, even when the ground beneath you feels uncertain.
He has proven Himself faithful over and over. Today, ask for the grace to trust Him a little more than you did yesterday.
Where in your life right now do you need to simply take Jesus at His word? What would it look like to rest there instead of striving?
Tell Jesus about the place you’re finding it hardest to trust Him right now.
Ask Him for grace to trust Him more — not because everything is resolved, but because He has always been faithful.
